GROW YOUR GROOTS
Be the first collect a complete set of your favorite extraterrestrial friend and shout "I Am Groot!" to win! Sounds easy enough, right? Well, maybe not. . .
WATCH OUT FOR GUARDIANS
The rest of your crew is hiding in the deck, just waiting to influence the game. You can count on your best bud, Rocket, to help you out! But some of others just want to spoil your fun (Hey, Drax!).
My kids fight over who gets to shout "I Am Groot!" first every single round, which is honestly the best part. Collecting the whole set of Groots takes way longer than I expected, so it's stayed in rotation for weeks.
We played this at game night and the "I Am Groot" shout-out mechanic turned into an absolute riot, especially when the Guardians cards kept messing up our sets. The scramble to grab the right characters before someone else completes their collection gets surprisingly intense for such a simple setup.
My kids couldn't stop laughing when the Guardians cards kept blocking our sets mid-game. The tension of racing to collect all three Groot pieces before someone yells the catchphrase is genuinely addictive. Takes about 20 minutes per round, perfect for a quick family filler.
