The little cheese and wine pairings along the border gave us something to talk about while we worked, way better than silently fitting sky pieces. Took us a couple evenings, but the 500 pieces felt just right for two people.
We turned off the TV, poured two glasses of red, and spent a rainy Sunday on this. The pairing labels printed next to each wedge are a nice touch, so you actually learn something while hunting for edge pieces. Finished it in one sitting and already want another.
The cheese and wine pairings on each piece made this way more fun than a regular landscape puzzle — my partner and I kept arguing about whether feta really goes with rosé. Pieces fit together snugly, no fraying edges, and we finished the whole 500 in two evenings.
