My daughter and I finished this over three weekends and she kept pointing out the activists and Olympians she recognized. The illustration style is colorful without being childish, so it looks good enough to frame.
The piece quality is what got me — thick, no peeling corners, and they snap together with a satisfying click. I framed it after finishing because the portraits of the activists and Olympians look too good to break apart. My only warning is that the darker background sections took some squinting.
I picked this up for a rainy weekend and ended up finishing it in two sittings — the illustration style makes each portrait distinct enough that you rarely get stuck on a piece. It's a nice mix of authors, athletes and activists, so there's always something interesting to look at while you work.
