Waffle Topple

The die roll makes every round different, so it never gets old even after playing five times in a row. Balancing the waffles and toppings without toppling the stack is way harder than it looks, which is exactly what makes it fun.

Even my six-year-old can join without knocking the whole pile down, which is saying something for a balance game. The waffle pieces have a nice heft that makes the toppling tension feel real, and we’ve already played three rounds in a row.

The die roll really shakes things up mid-stack, and the toppings are just chunky enough to keep it tricky without being frustrating. We've played four rounds in a row at dinner and everyone, even grandma, was holding their breath at the finish.
