Timescape: Jane Austen's Plight

I went in expecting a dry history lesson and instead got genuinely tense choices about whose reputation to protect. The way the timeline ripples when you fail to clear Miss Austen's name kept me replaying chapters just to see what other works got erased.

The time-travel framing actually works perfectly here—you're investigating Austen's scandal across different eras, and each clue feels cleverly placed. I burned through three sittings because every chapter made me want to see how the timeline unraveled next.

The dialogue feels ripped straight from a Regency novel, and the scandal plot actually had me rushing to save Austen's legacy. I loved how the era-specific clues made me feel like a proper agent, and the ending genuinely surprised me.
